Yui Bring the Winds Under Sound of Smile With First Track!

The male idol group S.O.S! ~sound of smile~ released the design trailer for their track “風が吹く” (”Kaze ga Fuku”) on Stardust Productions’ official YouTube channel. S.O.S! ~sound of smile~ is comprised of members from idol group M!LK, SUPER★DRAGON, and Sakurashimeji, making this indeed a sixteen-member super group. The track was written and composed by industry veteran Yui from the band FLOWER FLOWER. Yui hints that this track was designed to be a fiery love song and noted that he even sat in during the recording session to maximize their vocal strength for the track.

“Kaze ga Fuku” will be released digitally in May. Until then check out the preview below!

M!LK Drops New Music Video Ahead Of New Album

Music Corner alumni M!LK released a brand new music video for the lead track of their upcoming album. Juvenilizm - Seishun Shugi - is set to drop March 11 and the lead track for the album is their new song “Winding Road”. In the music video we see some high schoolers bury a time capsule before going on to live their lives. A few years later they reunite, unearthing the capsule and reflecting on happier days.

M!LK Announces Thrid Album as Two Members Leave

Music corner alumni M!LK have announced they will be releasing their third album titled Juvenilizm - Seishun Shugi - and will be released on March 11th. This will be the last album for both Miyase Ryubi and Itagaki Mizuki as they graduated from the group back in January. Both members decided to part from the group to focus on their acting careers. All the details of the album have not yet been revealed and so far the only two announced songs on the album will be “ERA” and “Slightly, you”. Juvenilizm - Seishun Shugi - will contain 14 tracks and is being released in three editions total; a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition that will come with a bonus photobook and trading card, and finally another limited edition that will come with everything listed plus a bonus Blu-ray. Pre-orders are up and are posted below along with M!LK’s song “ERA”.

Music Corner Week 33: M!LK

M!LK is a seven-member vocal dance unit signed under Stardust Records. The members of this group include Sano Hayato, Yoshida Jinto, Shiozaki Daichi, Itagaki Mizuki, Yamanaka Jyutaro, Sono Shunta, and Miyase Ryubi, all of whom managed by Stardust Promotion. Yoshida is one of the founding members and the current leader of the group. M!LK got started back in 2014 with its first appearance being on November 24, 2014. They dropped their first single, “Coffee ga Nomemasen”, on March 25, 2015 and recently they dropped their tenth single “ERA” on November 6, 2019. M!LK also has two albums under their belt with their first titled Ousama no Gyuunyuu, translated as “King of Milk”, which was released on November 22, 2017. Their second album, Time Capsule, dropped on February 6, 2019.

M!LK finds a great balance of strong vocal performances along with some fun and exciting melodies. Their song “My Treasure” is a fitting example of this; they have this really amazing ability to harmonize through almost the song’s entirety with a couple of lines sung solo.

M!LK Introduces New Concept!

Male idol group M!LK announced today a new mini album for their new concept BLACK M!LK. The mini album, THE LOCK, is being released on June 13th. The BLACK M!LK concept is going to feature the group's more edgy counterparts and, from what the promotional video entails, it looks like this will mean more dance centric songs and performances.
