Perfume kicks off anniversary with Best Of album!
/Popular three-member techno-pop group Perfume announced their first Best Of album for September 18. Titled Perfume The Best ”P Cubed”, the album will include digital remastering, by popular DJ Yasutaka Nakama, of several songs throughout Perfume’s outstanding career, and will boast a whopping fifty-two song track listing across a three-disc set. The album will play as “part one” of the group’s celebration of fifteen years in the Japanese music industry and Perfume promises more years to come!
The announcement of the album came as a surprise during Perfume’s Perfume LOCKS! radio program during which member Ayaka Nishiwaki commented that the tracks were chosen between all three members of the group along with several staff members. Therefore, the album is not only to be enjoyed by fans of Perfume but for listeners who might have only heard a song or two in the past and would like to know more about the group.
Perfume The Best ”P Cubed” will be released with three different editions: a standard CD-only edition, a CD + DVD/Blu-ray limited edition, and a CD + DVD/Blu-ray special edition. There isn’t much different content-wise between the limited edition and special edition except that the special edition includes a deluxe photo book, a must-have for fans.
