First Participation Artist for Takashi Matsumoto Tribute Album

To celebrate his historic run in the Japanese music industry, lyricist Takashi Matsumoto announced that he will be releasing a tribute album in his honor on July 14th. Currently untitled, Matsumoto's 50th anniversary project started at the end of 2019, and the release of the tribute album was originally announced in December last year. Elaiza Ikeda, GLIM SPANKY, Daoko, Daichi Miura, and Hiroji Miyamoto have been selected as the first participating artists in this work. Each artist is nominated by Seiji Kameda, the producer of the album. Of these, Elaiza Ikeda was also revealed to cover Hiroko Yakushimaru's "Woman ‘W no Higeki Yori’”. Ikeda has released footage from her studio recording on Nippon Columbia’s YouTube channel.

Daichi Miura Heads Backwards In New Single!

Singer-songwriter, Daichi Miura has announced he will be releasing a new single titled “Backwards” on April 21! This will be the latest release since Daichi’s latest single “I’m Here” dropped in January of this year. "Backwards” will contain a total of four tracks and all are said to be dance numbers, so be prepared to get your dancing shoes out! The lead track “Backwards” is currently being used as the campaign song for the “adidas 2021 S/S collection”, in which Daichi also acts as an image character for adidas along with Alice Hirose.

“Backwards” will be released in three edtions: a CD with bonus Blu-ray, a CD with bonus DVD, and a CD-only standard edition. The Blu-ray and DVD editions will include the music video for “Backwards” and “the choreo video for About Us”. If you order early enough through CDJapan, each edition includes bonus stickers! Daichi Miura Gives Fans A Choice In Latest Release

Artist and performer Daichi Miura has announced he will be releasing a recording of one of his live performances titled “DAICHI MIURA LIVECOLORLESS / The Choice is _____” which is set to be released on December 23. This was recorded from the final performance of his national tour titled "DAICHI MIURA LIVE TOUR 2019-2020 COLORLESS" which was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on November 5 of 2019. This will also include Miura’s first online concert that was held on October 10 of this year which was titled “The Choice is _____.”

“DAICHI MIURA LIVECOLORLESS / The Choice is _____” is being released in two editions total: a DVD edition and a Blu-ray edition. Both editions will also come with four CDs which will be the audio recordings of both live performances. The full track-listing is posted below along with the pre-order links for each edition. Daichi Miura Goes Where The Antelope Roam In Latest Single

Singer and dancer Daichi Miura revealed a brand new single titled “Antelope” and is set to be released on November 11th. This will be his twenty-seventh single overall. The single contains a total of three tracks including his song “Yours” which dropped digitally back in June. 

“Antelope” is being released in three editions total, a single CD-only edition, a CD plus DVD edition, and a CD plus Blu-ray edition. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will feature the music video for "Antelope" along with the choreography video for "Yours,". All three editions will come packaged with three postcards. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with his video for “Yours”.

Daichi Miura Dances His Heart Out In Latest Music Video

Back in June popular artist, Daichi Miura dropped his song “Yours” on all digital platforms. Well now Miura has dropped a music video doing what he does best - dancing! In the music video, it’s just Miura dancing his heart out in what appears to be a basement. “Yours” is about “burning life and confronting life strongly.” The message of the song comes through with the vivid choreography that is found in the music video.
